I am currently looking for an internship/job in many different branches, since I am planning to move to Berlin in order to make a professional experience abroad to enrich my curriculum vitae.
I am a 22 years old Psychology and Literature student from the University of Lausanne (Unil), Switzerland, and I am going to get my Bachelor degree on January. I have always worked and studied simultaneously, but starting from January/February I would like to start a full time work experience, where I could get the chance to put into practice my theoretical knowledge, increase my practical skills, and improve my German and English.
I believe that my educational background in Psychology could strongly apply a various number of positions, as it includes a great knowledge of social psychology and a few notions of marketing behavior. Also, thanks to my Literature studies, I had the opportunity to develop my writing attitude, especially in virtue of some journalism classes that I took.
Furthermore, as you can see in the enclosed resume, my professional experiences are quite diverse. To get down into specific, I worked several times as a barmaid and waitress; these kinds of environments gave me the opportunity to feel more and more at ease working closely with costumers. During my later position as a promoter for different agencies (Promotion-Tools, Stage Crew, CPM) I could amplify the above mentioned ability, in addition to the capacity to exalt and present a specific product.
More recently, I worked as a laboratory assistant with the Psychology Institute at the University of Lausanne, which allowed me to combine creative thinking and scientific and precise procedures, as my responsibilities included the creation of experimental set-ups and stimuli, in order to study different types of variation in the individual behavior. Also, during this interesting experience, I’ve learned the importance of autonomy and commitment to my tasks.
Moreover, I worked as an event manager for a SGA, where I was in charge for the organization of small events for students.
On the previous posts I have been always receiving excellent feedback from my employers and colleagues, which proves my strong commitment to perform with enthusiasm and passion in a professional environment. I like to work on my own, but I am also comfortable working in a group, as I adapt very easily to new situations. Furthermore, I am accurate but also creative, determined, I learn quickly, and I have a strong work ethic.
