We are looking for a SCADA Asset Inventory Manager to work within our Business Area Wind, Offshore, Engineering.
The Engineering department is the technical know-how centre within Business Area Wind, setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects to drive technical excellence through the whole project lifecycle.
Working within the Electrical & SCADA department of Engineering, the SCADA Asset Inventory Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet of Wind Farm SCADA & control systems and backend systems are proper mapped and constantly up to date in our asset inventory tool.
Key Responsibilities;
Description of the position as SCADA Asset Inventory Manager
  • Close cooperation with our SCADA Cyber Security Officer and BA Wind BISO (Business Information Security Officer) to ensure compliance with Vattenfall internal requirements
  • Work with the relevant technical experts within the Electrical & SCADA functional unit to ensure solutions are suitably captured within relevant standards and specifications.
  • Play an active role in promoting and embedding Cyber Security within Vattenfall BA Wind activities
  • Overall responsible for our IT / OT asset inventory list
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing asset inventory discovery tools (for active and passive scanning)
  • Create and maintain procedures to make sure changes are captured
  • Assist with Information and Asset Classification (IAC) and security controls selection
  • Assist with IT Zone classification
Your Background

  • Strong Security and HSE culture, with a strong commitment to contribute to the development and delivery of inherently safer wind farm projects
  • High degree of self-motivation with a flexible approach to work
  • Structured and naturally see documentation as part of the daily tasks
  • Degree level educated in electrical/electronic/IT or other engineering discipline
  • Min 5 years of experience within the cyber security area
  • Familiar with renewable energy technologies, preferably on-and offshore wind
  • Good English language skills. Danish/German language skills an advantage
  • Flexible approach to travel and working in our core countries

Location
You may choose freely to be based in one of Vattenfall office in Denmark (Kolding), Germany (Hamburg), London (UK) or Amsterdam (NL). However, you must expect travel activities related to your work.
