The focus of the Retail Collections department is loss mitigation through the negotiating with customer to reach a payment arrangement. If payment arrangements are not possible the department is responsible for taking actions that reduce the potential credit loss for Daimler Financial Services.
The owner of the position ensures that the optimal resources are planned. He or she supports the team leader by implementing management activities.
Tasks
Your tasks will be:
- Transfer mentorship and employee development to the respective team through coaching and feedback sessions.
- Implement management activities, including but not limited to productivity monitoring and development discussions.
- Enable planning of the daily activities, schedules and goal/performance operational objectives of the team specific to a given functional area. Co-provide reward and recognition to employees.
- Implement business metrics for team and cooperate in developing new strategies to improve operational performance.
- Maintain professional and supportive role with colleagues both within the collections department and outside to ensure an optimal customer experience.
- Induction of new employees and hand over of coaching duties.
- Support at the continuous process optimization.
- Provide needed support as a contact person regarding Power dialer.
Qualifications
Education/Professional experience:
- Completed technical education (Commercial education/ Business Administration)
- Several years of professional experience in Collections management
- Legal knowledge, knowledge on statistics
Language skills:
Spanish and English proficient
IT skills:
Technical understanding and good knowledge in Excel and Power Point
Soft skills:
Social competencies
