Your Key Responsibilities
Depending on the team, your responsibilities will comprise a selection of the following tasks:

- Cultivate and bank human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
- Differentiate human iPSCs towards neuronal and glia lineages
- Perform quality assurance activities on human iPSCs and iPSC-derived cell types for drug screening
- Support development of new differentiation protocols, novel iPSC-based technologies and optimization of existing SOP protocols
- Provide high-quality data on time and document results within electronic lab notebook
- Support cell culture activities on weekends with high level of independence
Your Ideal Qualification
- You successfully completed an apprenticeship as “Biologisch-technische/r Assistent/in” (BTA), CTA or MTA or a bachelor’s/ master’s degree in Biology (or relevant discipline)
- First work experience, preferably in a Pharma, Biotech, or a CRO setting, is advantageous
- You are skilled in cell culture techniques and ideally gained first experience in working with human pluripotent stem cells
- You pay attention to details and work precisely, also on repetitive tasks
- You are able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to produce results against challenging timelines
- Being a team player you are keen to interact closely with your colleagues and know how to communicate effectively with them
- As a person, you are dynamic and show high levels of drive, enthusiasm and commitment
- You are willing to work on weekends regularly (approx. every 6 weeks)
- You are able to communicate with the team in written and spoken English, German is advantageous
