YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Administer the databases in Datacrest/DataONE for the department in collaboration with IT and external vendor and ensure timely availability of
    corresponding data as well as quality with respect to correctness, reliability and validity
  • Be aware of available information (IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma etc.) and have a profound overview of relevant sources for the area as well as
    continuously track the secondary market research landscape to identify new information, needs and data sources and give recommendations
    if new sources might be valuable for Bayer Pharma
  • Provide proactive advice to groups within Customer & Business Insights (CBI) and other departments regarding caveats in the data and support
    development of CBI as project manager (m/f/d) or member (m/f/d) in internal projects
  • Create and maintain the standard reports on the overall pharmaceutical market on a global, regional and local level and take care of related
    ad hoc secondary data requests from internal business partners like Central Controlling, Strategic Planning and Bayer Corporate
  • Manage key external vendor (EVS/IQVIA) with forecasting requirements and ad hoc overflow business requests
  • Support the activities for the yearly review process of the corporate market structure and ensure alignment with the goals and the balance
    between internal business partners’ needs and data availability
  • Coordinate with global marketing teams and key support functions (MACS, Finance, CI) to capture forecasting inputs and assumptions
    for mid-term and long-term planning
  • Plan and oversee the development of forecasts including scenario updates via vendor, provide synthesized outcomes to stakeholders and address
    specific business questions, explain data or methodology limitations/caveats in transparent manner to support informed decision making

WHO YOU ARE

 

    • University degree in fields such as economics, business administration, statistics or similar
    • First experiences in market research within the pharmaceutical industry; international experience is a plus
    • Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical products, Bayer’s marketed and pipeline products as well as therapeutic markets
    • High affinity for numbers with in-depth knowledge of the international data sources and systems for analyses
    • Software knowledge on an advanced level, especially with MS Office and with software from providers like IQVIA (Dataview, etc.), Tableau experience desirable
    • Must be able to work with a high degree of autonomy to plan, organize and implement multiple projects within time and capacity constraints
    • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an international environment as well as interdisciplinary teams
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

This is a part-time position (80%) with a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
