Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the localization of diverse video game titles from our prestigious clients and partners. This includes internal deliveries to all relevant departments (audio, translation, LQA, DTP) while being the sole contact with the client.The role requires you to liaise constantly with a range of high-profile managers and developers in order to guarantee the delivery of projects within a specified deadline and budget. At the same time, the Project Manager must also ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality by our production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing localization projects from beginning to end
  • Being the main point of contact between the Altagram team and the clients
  • Developing effective working relationships and process management for each project
  • Creating and controlling project budgets, performing cost tracking analysis, ensuring purchase orders and invoices are issued in a timely manner
  • Providing input and feedback for continuous improvement of processes, services, and client relationships
  • Shortening localization time-to-market, reducing costs, and helping our clients to achieve their global business objectives
  • Ensuring the most effective use of our software tools for assigned projects
  • Traveling to fairs or events to meet potential or existing clients
  • Leading meetings and conference calls

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills required
  • Experience in an agency environment
  • Self-motivation, and the ability to solve problems and make decisions while acting independently and decisively
  • Confident customer relations and excellent communication skills
  • Experience with audio projects and/or LQA is a real plus
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload effectively
  • Awareness of cross-cultural differences
  • Knowledge of standard software (MS Office) and of localization tools
  • Familiarity with the principles of internationalization and globalization
  • Passion for video games
