Job’s objective

Editing and proofreading will be the main tasks expected of you. The job of the Linguistic QA Tester requires discovering mistakes in the writing and fixing them. Also, you may need to translate content from English to your native language as well as take care of all the user-interface problems.

You must be legally allowed to work in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Detect bugs and mistakes using the internal database system
  • Be fast and efficient in highlighting and understanding tasks
  • Respect cultural differences and have a great command of your native language
  • Write and speak fluently
  • Focus on detailed organization and quality
  • Test products to determine their quality
  • Unveil issues and bugs through certain tracking tools
  • Grade document- and software-based translations
  • Give solutions to linguistic problems
  • Abide by the standards and rules of the specific project
  • Report basic and testing issues
  • Finish the tasks fast and effectively

Qualifications

  • You have a knowledge in one or more languages among which Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Australian English, Canadian English, UK English, Finnish, French, Canadian French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Spanish, Mexican Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese language.
  • You graduated with a bachelor’s degree in the field connected to the job.
  • You are able to work on the business and client’s premises.
  • You are highly fluent in speaking and writing in one or more needed languages.
  • You follow the new trends of the technical language.
  • You have a strong command of the oral and written English.
  • You have used the Microsoft Office suite.
  • You are able to work with multiple browsers, websites, and networks.
  • You know how to operate smartphones and the hardware of personal computers.
  • You can function in a constantly-changing environment.
  • Preferably you have worked with localization, quality assessment, and translation.
