Key responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for providing a robust collection service within the entire Eversheds Deutschland LLP. You will report in to the Manager of the Central Billing Team. You will be responsible for ensuring your performance meets our client’s needs, whilst being target driven to meet and exceed the firm’s targets.

Working as part of a fast paced, supportive and dynamic team, your remit will encompass all aspects of the credit control function including collection, KPI performance, ledger reviews, and compliance. You will be responsible for supporting your colleagues in relation to client queries and identifying any risks and escalating accordingly. You will understand the end to end process for each of our key clients recommending improvements if necessary and ensuring the clients portfolio is updated accordingly.

You will collaborate with all levels of the Partnership, including internal and external clients as well as accountants to develop communicate and execute credit strategies. You will be required to undertaken other adhoc financial tasks such as invoicing as directed from time to time.

Skills and experience:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Successfully completed professional training as a trained legal assistant
  • Experience in claims management, in court and out-of-court
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • A target driven focus
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the Partnership and with our clients
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive and can do attitude to problem solving
  • Team Player – supporting colleagues
  • Offer new ideas and share experience to maximise cash flow across the business.

  • A clear understanding of credit control policies
  • Who is passionate about service and building strong internal and external relationships
  • An ability to communicate effectively with the team, the members of the Partnership, stakeholders and clients
  • Who is highly organised and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills, including MS Outlook, Excel and Word, knowledge of DATEV Anwalt Pro appreciated.
