We are looking for Arabic speaking Legal Counsel – Labor Law (f/m/d) with a strong footprint in the area of labor laws to join our Legal team at our incredible Hero Hub in the heart of Berlin.
Your mission:
- You will advise relevant departments and Delivery Hero´s management in different markets on all topics arising in connection with our logistics operations
- Together with different teams within our organization, you will contribute to a global compliance framework to ensure adherence to applicable laws as well as internal Delivery Hero standards in the area of labor law and in related areas of law
- You will work closely with management as well as our logistics and product teams in further developing our logistics services in different jurisdictions worldwide
- You will coordinate with external law firms and legal advisors on labor law related matters in different countries worldwide
- You will liaise with regulators and administrative bodies to devise strategies and to deliver solutions for Delivery Hero´s key challenges arising in connection with our logistics activities
- You will monitor legal trends and legislative changes in our main markets to make sure that Delivery Hero´s logistics services are always state of the art
- Together with local legal counsels, you will deal with lawsuits as well as administrative proceedings and investigations in countries where Delivery Hero operates
- In cooperation with Delivery Hero´s human resource departments, you will be involved in interdisciplinary projects to strengthen our organizational culture and to enable employee development within the organization
Your heroic skills:
- You are either fully qualified or you are in possession of a university law degree from a reputable University (L.L.M. or equivalent)
- You are a business driven and pragmatic lawyer with outstanding legal qualifications and 2+ years of working experience (post qualification)
- You are an absolute team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- You possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and solve complex tasks in a legally accurate yet pragmatic and timely manner
- You are characterized by good self-organization, independence and a high level of commitment
- Ideally you have experience in labor law related matters either as in-house counsel or as lawyer in a reputable law firm (experience with logistics operations are considered an asset)
- You are fully proficient in English and Arabic
