SPT Worldwide are experts in voice based premium rate billing. Our technology allows us to connect end users in a huge amount of countries across the world directly to premium voice services of multiple genres.

We are a very small company mainly based in Berlin but operate internationally in a niche market. As we grow, we touch on many other business areas but never lose sight that we are a telecommunications company.

In order to help us grow we are looking for a passionate WEB DEVELOPER – FRONT END (M/F) to join our Berlin office on a full-time basis:

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for web development of our web applications as well as maintaining existing websites

• Management of all internal tools ( websites, CLIs, emails)

• Server and client side development

• First point of contact for identifying functional and technical queries and issues of our global customers in collaboration with the Technical Manager

• Support and maintenance of our bespoke applications eg: call centre and customer management applications and databases

• Day to day IT support of the office team ( passwords, emails, devices in office)

• Support of sales and management team as needed

Your Requirements:

• 1-3 years work experience in the field of web development

• Ability to handwrite codes of any programming language and Git repository is a must have

• Proven record of server and client side development

• Working knowledge of any framework (php)

• Basic knowledge of any server side scripting language e.g. PHP (or any non-proprietary language -non-microsoft)

• Excellent problem-solving , analytical and team working skills required

• Capability to stay organized, multitask and work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines

• Ability to communicate and understand technical concepts clearly and effectively to any audience

• Networking knowledge advantageous

• Hands-on mentality essential as this role entails a customer facing as well as an office support element as we are a very small company
