We provide innovative ideas to original equipment manufacturers, first-tiers, and service providers. Our main office is in Berlin, with regional hubs in Tokyo and Taipei.

For our office in Berlin, we are currently looking for a Junior Systems Administrator (m/f).

Responsibilities:

• Perform systems administration activities, including user support, server maintenance, incident response, security evaluation, operations automation, database administration, and AWS/IaaS server administration
• Support a wide variety of IT operations tasks
• Maintain responsibility for Windows and Linux servers
• Support security maintenance activities to ensure compliance
• Assist in performing security scans, patches, and vulnerability assessments

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience in interacting with end users and providing customer support
• 5+ years of personal development experience
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms
• Openness to new technologies and creative solutions
• Excellent English communication skills; other languages like German a strong plus
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment

Bonus qualities:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience configuring / administering distributed systems and clusters including Kafka, Cassandra, Spark
• Experience in Linux development, configuration and administration
• Happy to work with Terraform, Python, Ansible, Docker
