			<p>MedEngine is developing a solution to help and empower people suffering from Parkinson’s disease. We are building a patient-centric product that consists of two parts. A watch with embedded sensors that track motor symptoms and a companion mobile app that tracks non-motor symptoms, and serves a diary and a lifestyle assistant. Our goal is to help people better understand and self manage their disease and to provide clinicians with the tools to make informed decisions about treatment options.</p>
<p>In order to create a revolutionary product, we require cutting-edge technology, which is why we are continuously crafting new hardware prototypes. We are looking for a talented and motivated engineer who can help us with hardware development and refining the data flow from the sensors to the database.</p>
<p>Could this be you?</p>
<p>Your Tasks:</p>
<p>Test individual sub-systems and coordinate with team members to improve features.<br />
Performing experiments to explore and control the primary system processes.<br />
Creating step-by-step process control recipes as a prerequisite to embedded control.<br />
Providing general team-wide support throughout the product development cycle.<br />
Working on onboarding signal processing onto the device<br />
Requirements<br />
Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.<br />
C/C++ programming skills for embedded platforms<br />
Texas Instruments RTOS programming experience preferred<br />
You are capable of developing firmware code for embedded systems that implement support for standard communication protocols such as USB, UARTs, I2C, SPI, Ethernet (DoIP), TCP/IP.<br />
Knowledge of and experience working with mechanical engineering / electrical engineer / industrial designers.<br />
You know either Golang, Python, Ruby or Java<br />
You love to write good, clean code<br />
You are motivated and autonomous<br />
You are a problem solver and are not afraid of complex challenges<br />
You are capable of digesting scientific papers and extracting information relevant to the task at hand<br />
You know git<br />
You are fluent in English</p>
<p>Bonus Points if:</p>
<p>You have experience with any of the following languages and frameworks:, React Native (Typescript), Android, Swift.<br />
You know SQL or any other database system<br />
You are interested in working on other aspects of our product, mainly the backend infrastructure</p>
