Get part of our Data & Analytics (“Scout24 DnA”) group and lead our Artificial-Intelligence-Platform team for building a state-of-the-art AI-Platform for Scout24. This role is ideal for someone with good agile product development experience, who is strong in people management and a deep AI & engineering mindset. You will be involved in working with huge amount of data, cutting-edge technologies and working with some of the most influential and impactful data projects in Germany.

Responsibilities and goals you own:

• Build and lead a team of 5 ML engineers at Scout24
• Develop and operate an AI platform for all Scout24 verticals and business units
• Drive a company-wide vision and strategy for the Scout24 AI platform
• Based on your data-driven und stakeholder focused mindset you are creating new ideas and features for Scout24 AI platform
• Partner with product management teams to drive requirements for new AI platform and AI products
• Develop the team and individual team members, give feedback and do coaching
• Living Agile: Frequent development cycles, Continuous Delivery, DevOps and DataDevOps

Must haves:

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Maths or equivalent experience
• 3+ years professional work experience in Data Science or Machine Learning or Big Data
• Proven success in delivering data products and services in a high growth environment
• Experience in working cross-functionally with data science, engineering, and project management counterparts to deliver products/services/platforms
• Experience in leadership role
• Strong desire to learn about new trends and technologies
• Fluency in English, German is a plus
• Regular travelling between Scout24 offices (Munich, Berlin, Barcelona) required

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with AWS data environment
• Expertise in Scala or Python and SQL
