Key responsibilities:
- Overall support to senior management on strategic matters
- Analyse the performance of the funds under management, identify key impact drivers and trends
- Analyse market opportunities to strengthen impact in the domain of entrepreneurship
- Support the development and introduction of new products and initiatives
- Support internal and external reporting regarding investments, fund performance and economic developments in the countries of operation
- Prepare inputs for investment committee meetings and board meetings
- Liaise with numerous internal and external stakeholders
What we expect:
- University degree in economics, finance or business administration
- Work experience in a relevant field, such as banking, finance, accounting, or consulting (e.g. job experience, internships)
- Interest in development finance, development economies, regions and cultures
- Self-starter with analytical and strategic mindset and attention to detail; sound analytical skills, affinity to numbers; well-organized when working under pressure across diverse tasks
- Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong communication and intercultural skills as well as being a strong team player
- Demonstrate alignment with the mission / goals of FiM
