We are an expanding food tour company with food tours in London, Paris and Rome. We are excited to be starting a new food tour in Berlin in May (I will be there in Berlin to interview people from May 6th -9th) and we are looking for someone to be our local manager/guide. You need to be passionate about food, wine, and German/Berlin culture.
There are two main roles for this job:
1) Food tour guide: you will take small groups of tourists around Berlin and get them to taste some great local Berlin food and delicious wine/beer/drinks, while telling them about German culture and local stories from the area. Being friendly, sociable and enjoying people is important.
Manager: As the manager you will be in charge of building the tour with our help, we have very good experience in building food tours but you will be the local expert. You’re role will also be to manage the other guides and to promote the tour in Berlin and helping with sales.
You need to be a fluent in English AND of course German.
You need to know German culture, food, and Berlin.
You need to need to LOVE food, wine and culture.
You need to like to talk to people.
You need to be good at managing people and time.
You need to be available to work from Mid May.

We are looking for someone in a freelance role, you will be paid a fixed salary every month and for each tour you do.
