Hi my name is Andras. I’m a Hungarian expat in Germany (Find Hungarian speaking jobs in Germany!). I’m a videographer and student and I’ve been living in Germany for three years.

What brought me to Germany

I moved to Germany because my family was already here and I saw that life is way more easier in Germany than in Hungary. Yes, it was a hard decision but it was totally worth it.

My experience searching for a job in Germany

Finding my first job was pretty interesting. Back then I wasn’t working as a videographer and I live in a small village so there isn’t anything on the Internet about the factories nearby. So I just went from place to place and asked if they need somebody and THEY DID!

My #1 tip for expat jobseekers in Germany

Andras, a Hungarian Expat
My tips for foreigners would be the following: First of all knowing the language makes everything easier – there are apps and other things that can help you learn the language so just try some of them out and let’s see if they work. My other tip is to use the Internet. The Internet will help you a lot. There are some communities that help each other like French communities, English communities, even Hungarian communities and so on, so this is a huge help and you can also find jobs way more easier especially if you live in a huge city like Berlin.
